Where the clinic is

Shop No. 09, Nand Ashish CHS, on RB Mehta Marg in Ghatkopar East, next to Naturals ice cream, in the Saibaba Nagar and Pant Nagar stretch. It is a ground floor shop, so there are no stairs to climb and no lift to wait for.

If you are coming by car there is parking on site. If you are coming by train or metro, Ghatkopar is the interchange for both.

Hours, and whether you need an appointment

Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 9:00 pm. Closed Sunday. The late finish is deliberate. Most people cannot take a working day off for a dental appointment, and a 9 pm close means you can come after work rather than lose a day.

You do not strictly need an appointment. Walk in and you will be seen. That said, call or WhatsApp +91 92235 44444 before you set off and we will give you a time, which usually means you sit in the chair instead of the waiting area.

Which languages you can be treated in

Consultations run in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi. This matters more than it sounds. Consent for surgery is not real consent if it was explained in a language you only half follow, and older patients in particular should be able to ask their own questions rather than have a son or daughter translate for them.

Who actually does the treatment

Dr. Manthan Desai holds an MDS in Implantology and Periodontics, with fellowships from the ICOI in the USA, the University of Hong Kong, and ICLE in the USA for lasers. Surgery is done by him, not handed to a rotating junior. Visiting specialists cover orthodontics and prosthodontics.

What happens at a first visit

A full mouth examination, including an oral cancer screening. Digital X-rays on site, single tooth or full mouth OPG, and an intraoral scanner instead of impression trays if a scan is needed.

You leave knowing three things: what has to be done, what can safely wait, and what it will cost. In writing. If a tooth can be saved rather than replaced, you will be told that, even though saving it is the cheaper treatment.

Paying, parking and access

Cards, UPI, Google Pay and contactless are all accepted, so you are not sent to find an ATM. Parking is on site. The entrance, seating and toilet are wheelchair accessible, and there is a private space for mothers who need to feed.
